This year’s event promises an exciting day featuring nearly 100 vendors showcasing the finest in plant-based eating and eco-friendly living.

Attendees can explore a plethora of options from top plant-based restaurants, indulge in specialty food items, and discover eco-conscious products. “VegFest is a wonderful opportunity for anyone curious about plant-based eating or those already embracing this lifestyle to explore a diverse array of delicious, healthy options,” says Tom Progar, President of VegMichigan. “We are proud to support a growing community that values health, sustainability and the well-being of our planet.”

The day will be packed with engaging cooking demonstrations beginning at 10:30 a.m., featuring local celebrity chef Quiana “Que” Broden of Cooking with Que. These sessions, along with informative presentations, are designed to inspire and educate attendees on the benefits of plant-based diets.

Progar also notes, “Plant-based eating continues to gain momentum. It’s beneficial for personal health and critical for environmental conservation. Events like VegFest allow us to share this important message in a fun, inclusive setting.”
