Hash Bash Aims Higher This Year
In the other, Dr. Evan Litinas, chief medical officer at Om of Medicine, and Dr. Sue Sisley, a leading cannabis researcher, and Dr. Gus Rosania, a professor at the UM School of Pharmacy, will offer their views on the ills of prohibition.
Mark Passerini, co-founder of Om Medicine Dispensary, in downtown Ann Arbor, who organized this year’s speakers, says, “The lineup of speakers is extremely robust and more professional than it’s ever been. Over the years it’s been a one-hour event between 12 and 1 p.m. This year, we’re extending that to a little over four hours. We’re going to have about 30 speakers from all over the country.”
Candidates for governor and attorney general will also be in attendance. Gretchen Whitmer, the leading candidate on the Democratic side, is going to speak on supporting medical cannabis and also cannabis legalization, as well as Dana Nessel, who is running for attorney general in Michigan.
