Mindfulness kids summer camp
Registration is now OPEN!! Never heard of yoga? Well, Yoga in simplest form is meditation, breath control, and specific body poses. Practiced for health and relaxation. But for us this means fun!! In yoga, there is a pose for almost everything in the world, whether it is an animal, a tree, or an airplane, and we can do it all with our bodies. This year a new program was added to Yoga.
The new curriculum focuses on mental health and wellbeing for the children. For ages 5-8 yrs at 10 am till 11:30 am 9 yrs and up at 12 pm till 1:30 pm Sessions last one hour and a half and are $75 per child. Be sure to select the right session for your child. $50 for each additional sibling.
What will your kid(s) learn from the 6 week sessions? Develop body awareness, Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way, Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement. Increase their confidence and positive self image Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group. Have an alternative to tuning out through constant attachment to electronic devices. SEL activities Yoga for mental health, Sound Therapy, Art and exploration and more! Each session will be different. The kids will learn songs and sequences to guide them into their yoga practice. Each session includes all materials, yoga mat, snacks, and more!
