Online Certification in Natural Medicine

Starting in July, the Concordia University School of Pharmacy will offer online certification to deliver helpful knowledge about the growing use of natural medicines for healthcare professionals. The course will be delivered in eight-week accelerated sessions.

            This information allows students to more openly discuss the use of natural health products with their patients and confidently offer new treatment options. The course takes a deep dive into the discovery and history of natural medicines, along with the therapeutic benefits and risks. The natural products science program is led by an interdisciplinary team of scientists, researchers and pharmacists hoping to make a difference in this field.
