The Ann Arbor Summer Festival board of trustees has appointed Mike Michelon as executive director, effective immediately. Formerly the festival’s general manager, Michelon has been managing the festival’s business and operations since joining the staff in 2014.  He succeeds Amy Nesbitt in leading the 35-year-old organization.

Michelon says, “The Ann Arbor Summer Festival represents what’s best about our city, and I cherish our opportunity to continue to engage the creativity, curiosity and passion of our community and region through high-caliber arts experiences.” Top of the Park runs from June 8 through July 1, 2018.
