Rachel Egherman, LMT, and certified HeartMath coach, is teaching Transforming Stress for Teens, an opportunity for youths from 12 to 18 years old to come together in a small group to share and learn easy-to-use, evidence-based techniques for building resilience. The focus will be on identifying the emotions and situations that are depleting and learning tools that help us thrive. Meetings will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m., March 6 and 20 and April 3 and 17.
Egherman states, “The speed, complexity and deluge of information filling teenage brains is accelerating their stress. Teenage suicide is on the rise. The techniques we will learn have been shown to change our physiology in a way that helps us self-regulate and navigate the world with more clarity.”
