The 28th annual Ann Arbor Garden Walk fundraiser will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 9. Ann Arbor Farm & Garden is a nonprofit social and philanthropic organization. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit horticultural and environmental organizations and projects such as school and community gardens, natural areas restoration and beautification. Since 1946, they have distributed more than $600,000 in student scholarships and grants.

Locations include Ace Barnes Hardware (Stadium Boulevard location only), Dixboro General Store, Downtown Home & Garde and Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Participants will see wooded landscapes full of challenges that include a rain-capturing cistern system and an 1860s farmhouse surrounded by easy-care perennials. Packed with plants, waterfalls, art and more, these gardens offer a host of ideas and inspiration for those planning to spruce up their own green space.

In addition to gardens, the Walk features a tempting variety of perennial plants, unique garden art and handcrafted merchandise at the Garden Walk Marketplace, at Garden 3.

Admission is $20/$3 for students K-12 at the door. For more information, visit AnnArborFarmAndGarden.org.
