The Out of the Darkness Community Walk
The Michigan chapter of the American
Foundation for Suicide Prevention will conduct The Out of the Darkness
Community Walk and fundraiser, a journey of remembrance, hope and support, on
September 16, 2023, at Clinch Park.
This
event unites our community and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways
in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the
lives of those we love and care about. Check-in time is 9 a.m. and the walk
begins at 10 a.m. Individuals raising $150 by September 16 can receive an
official Out of the Darkness Walk T-shirt.
Admission is free. Location: 111 E. Grandview
Pkwy., Traverse City. Register at afsp.org/traversecity. Donations, sponsors,
