Mid-Michigan Neurofeedback

Gretchen Morse, DMA, BCNS

The office of Gretchen Morse, DMA, BCNS, a board-certified neurofeedback specialist, pain management coach and stress management coach, provides neurofeedback using specialized monitoring equipment to help clients learn to settle their nervous system, freeing the mind and body from being stuck in emotional and physiological responses that limit their full potential.

Endorsed by the Mayo Clinic and the American Academy of Pediatrics, neurofeedback is a non-medicinal, non-invasive approach that teaches how to self-regulate the brain for better physical, cognitive and emotional function. Neurofeedback is empowering and builds self-awareness. It can help with stress, attention/focus, mood and anger, head/body pain, sleep, energy, motivation, behavior, emotional pain and loss, fear/panic, “stuckness”, peak performance and meditation creativity.

The process starts with an intake session that covers the history of any symptoms, and also a brain mapping/recording to understand the symptoms better. The map is used to design custom protocols that are used in follow-up sessions to help retrain the brain and nervous system. Only positive changes are trained, so it is a very safe process.
