Autumn Equinox Sound Bath with Amanda Jurasits
Enjoy the soothing sounds of singing bowls and other instruments in an energy-balancing meditation in honor of the Autumn Equinox.

Called Mabon in the pagan calendar, the fall equinox is about finding balance (night & day, balance in life) and manifesting abundance. This time of equal day and night is marked by the peak of harvest season, which can be interpreted as the energetic harvest of the fruits of your spiritual labor. This signals the need to balance light and darkness within us. Utilizing various tools including quartz singing bowls, participants will be lulled into a relaxed, meditative state with the intention of balancing the energy centers of the body. The practice of sound healing goes back hundreds of years. It was believed that certain frequencies held healing effects by vibrationally aligning the body with that specific tone. These same concepts are being studied and used today, with evidence pointing in the direction of positive physical and mental results.
This event will start with a brief introduction and guided breathing to allow everyone to settle in. Then, we will be moving into the sound portion, beginning with tuning forks and a crystal merkaba to clear out any stagnant energies. From there, we will take a journey through different styles of bowls with a rainstick interspersed throughout. The playing of the bowls will alternate between single and dual tones, the purpose of which is to harmonize and balance the chakras, as well as the left and right sides of the body. The rainstick will clear out any heavy energies between bowl sessions, ensuring constant movement and flow during the session. The event will draw to a close with a short Q+A session. All are welcome. Space for walk-ins will be limited, so it is encouraged to reserve your spot in advance.
