Join our Natural Areas Tech, Mike Sefton, in exploring the macroinvertebrates that inhabit Mill Creek along Sloan Preserve! Mike will lead a short hike from the parking lot to a landing along the creek where he will dip net for a variety of macroinvertebrates, such as crayfish, stoneflies, and mussels. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet and bring along waterproof boots, if you have them!
