Open House at New Digs for Massage Mechanics

Massage Mechanics, providing high-quality, therapeutic massage services and products, has moved to 7 South Washington Street in downtown Ypsilanti, and will host a Wellness Funhouse at the new location from 6 to 9 p.m., April 6. “This move will take Massage Mechanics to the next level,” says co-owner Andrea Gruber. "This coincides with our seven-year anniversary of being in business. We will offer demonstrations for a variety of our new services and retail items, and are looking forward to sharing our space with everyone.”

“The office is bigger, brighter, and more comfortable for our staff and clients, enabling us to better serve our community,” says co-owner Emily Weir. The upstairs rooms are handicap-accessible and large enough for couples massages, hot stone and raindrop therapies, Thai massage, informational workshops and even small yoga classes. “These larger spaces inspired us to take the leap of adding additional services and retail products to our menu that we always aspired to offer,” she says.

“Ypsilanti embodies the values of grassroots movements and authentic changes for the betterment of all,” says Weir. “We work to integrate those values in our business because we love our community.”
