Habitat Celebrates 29 Years of Building

Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley is hosting a Bid to Build auction from 6 to 9 p.m., May 19, at the University of Michigan Campus Research Complex, to support strengthening communities in Ypsilanti and celebrate 29 years of helping families in Washtenaw County.

The fundraiser will support Habitat’s work of renovating and building homes for future homebuyers and providing financial education and home improvement programs for individuals and families.

The evening includes hundreds of silent auction items from local businesses, and a live auction, which features a Zingerman’s Roadhouse dinner for 20, a three-night stay in Las Vegas for two and 30 hours of professional painting. There will be a strolling dinner paired with beer and wine. Live music is from the QB Trio and All About Ann Arbor host Meredith Bruckner will emcee the event.
