Health Fair Expands Access to Community Wellness Resources
The
Lansing Juneteenth Committee prepares for the return of its Annual Health Fair,
a central feature of the city’s four-day Juneteenth Celebration. Scheduled to
be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 21, 2025, the Health Fair takes place at St.
Joseph Park, in Lansing, offering a vital platform for health and wellness
education.
Expected to draw more than 7,000
attendees, the Health Fair seeks to increase the visibility of health and
wellness resources in the community. Its goals include offering a variety of
health screenings, providing educational materials and motivating visitors to
make informed, positive health choices.
Participating vendors will enhance the
experience by distributing giveaways at each station. Items include hand
sanitizer, lip balm, stress balls, first aid kits, pill cases, pens, magnets,
key chains and giveaway bags—making wellness accessible and engaging for all
ages.
Nonprofit healthcare providers are
invited to participate under the Health Fair tent, where they receive a
complimentary table and two chairs. These organizations may also opt to
complete a vendor form for an independent outdoor space. For-profit healthcare
providers are required to register through the vendor process and are
responsible for providing their own setup. Although not part of the Health Fair
tent, for-profit vendors may request nearby placement.
Location: St. Joseph Park, Lansing,
MI. For more information, email [email protected] or
