Learning Center Offers Ancient Wisdom for Modern Healing and Clarity
Jewel Heart Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center, guided by Spiritual Director Demo Rinpoche, welcomes those seeking spiritual insight, emotional resilience and a more grounded way of living. Located in Ann Arbor, this nonprofit offers a year-round array of teachings rooted in Tibetan Buddhism that are accessible to all levels of experience.
Recognizing that authentic wisdom traditions remain vital in today’s fast-paced world, Jewel Heart creates a welcoming space where contemplative practice meets community engagement. In addition to courses in meditation and philosophy, visitors find opportunities to join yoga sessions, hiking groups, film nights and arts-based meetups. Demo Rinpoche, a respected teacher with a deep lineage, offers weekly Sunday talks both onsite and online, helping participants bridge inner growth with everyday challenges.
The learning center also features special programs and guest lectures with renowned scholars and visiting Tibetan Buddhist lamas. Its diverse offerings make it a place where ancient teachings meet real-world relevance.
