Adaptive Yoga Studio Supports Mental Health and Body Connection
TheraPLAYoga offers an inclusive, body-first approach to healing through adaptive yoga and therapeutic movement. Specializing in support for individuals and families with complex needs, the studio provides personalized, trauma-informed care that helps clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate emotions and build resilience.
Founded by Gloria Treviño, TheraPLAYoga centers its practice on accessibility—creating space for diverse bodies, brains and abilities. The studio’s sessions support children, teens and adults as they navigate mental health, stress and sensory processing. Every offering is rooted in somatic awareness, sensory integration and playful, compassionate movement.
Clients learn to use the body as a tool for self-regulation, emotional balance and personal growth. TheraPLAYoga’s work benefits not only individuals, but also parents, caregivers and educators facing overwhelm and burnout. By prioritizing presence, safety and choice, each session fosters connection, empowerment and healing.
TheraPLAYoga is offered by appointment-only to allow for individualized attention and tailored experiences. With a strong emphasis on education, the studio also provides resources to support self-awareness and long-term well-being at home, school and beyond.
