Independent songwriter George Peter Block Jr. continues to capture hearts with his heartfelt reflections on place, memory and belonging. Originally from Illinois, Block now resides in Michigan, a state whose culture and character have inspired much of his recent work.
In honor of Michigan’s birthday, Block appeared recently on Northern Michigan’s 9 & 10 News morning show to share “Michiganders,” a song featured on The Michigan LP.
