Community Gathering Celebrates Earth Day Through Music and Food
The Healing Feast and Good Neighbor Concert Series, organized by Sari Brown, takes place 6 to 8:45 p.m., April 21, at Stage One at Sycamore Creek Eastwood in Lansing, offering a dinner, concert and interactive gathering that celebrates Earth Day through food, music and community connection.
This event marks the first collaboration between The Healing Feast and The Good Neighbor Concert Series, centered on the theme of Renewed Energy. Brown facilitates the Healing Feast, sharing globally inspired, earth-conscious food alongside practices that support creativity, healing and connection. Tania Watt hosts the concert series, cultivating an inclusive listening-room environment while supporting community engagement.
Featured artist Audra Kubat, a Detroit singer-songwriter, brings a career spanning more than 30 years, with seven albums and a focus on empowerment through music. The evening includes Thai cuisine with vegan and gluten-free options, followed by participatory creative experiences.
Registration begins at 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:15 p.m. and programming continues through 8:45 p.m. Sliding scale tickets range from $0 to $66, with reduced pricing available for children.
