Although the new deadline for federal tax returns is July 15, the Michigan state returns are still due by April 15. In order to complete the state tax return timely, a federal tax return needs to be completed first. State taxes owed will be due April 15.

First quarter Federal estimated payments, normally due April 15, have been extended also, to July 15. Michigan State estimated payments are still due April 15.
