Take a Trip to Wonderland

The Wonderland Ball fundraiser, hosted by The Renaissance Project from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., November 16, at Bobcat Bonnie's, in Ypsilanti, will donate 100 percent of ticket sales to the Center Stage Scholarship Fund. This night of art, music and costumes will help send deserving kids to drama camp. There will be games, costume contests and prizes.

The Wonderland Ball will feature a one-night-only art exhibition showcasing local artists’ illustrations of their personal Wonderland, shaped by the dreams and fears of the visitor. Featuring participants include John Dinser, Kerry Sprague, Danni Murphy, Tom Reed, Curtis Wallace, Emily Hershberger Ferguson and others.

Local musicians such as Jake Maltby, Colin Murphy & Anna Lee's Co, Hullabaloo and Back Forty have volunteered their time to the kids and will appear at the event. There will also be a special performance from Center Stage Choir.

Admission is $30. Location: 200 W. Michigan Ave. For tickets and more information, visit Tinyurl.com/TheWonderlandBall.
