The nonprofit Guild of Artists & Artisans will hold the inaugural A2 Artoberfest from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., October 9 and 10, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., October 11, in Downtown Ann Arbor along Fourth Avenue and into the Kerrytown Market to celebrate the arts.

            This jury-selected show will feature 140 fine artists, live entertainment, food trucks, craft beer and cider. At a free children’s art activity area presented by the Toledo School for the Arts, their students will help art lovers of all ages with a fun printmaking activity The Guild will have a limited supply of T-shirts for stamping available for a donation.

            Founded in 1970, the Guild is an association of independent artists with a mission to develop and present art fairs that serve its members and community. At Guild fairs, attendees have the opportunity to interact directly with the artists. Guild artists welcome attendees to their booths and are available to discuss everything from their techniques to their inspirations. Featured work includes jewelry, ceramics, painting, sculpture, glass, photography, fiber, wood, leather and more.
