Suicide Prevention in Washtenaw County

NAMI Washtenaw is a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. They provide advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

Serious mental health conditions often first appear when people are in their teens and early 20s. If left untreated, these brain disorders may result in great harm. Ending the Silence is a 50-to-90-minute in-person or online presentation to educate students, parents and teachers about the early signs of a mental health condition, how to get help and tools that can be used to help safeguard mental health and well-being.

Ending The Silence presentations are available upon request. To schedule, call 734-994-6611, email [email protected] or visit namiwc.org.
