The SanKofa Life Center, established by the late Dr. Keefa, aspires to be an oasis of wellness in an urban jungle. Its plain, cinder-block façade seems like any other storefront on this stretch of Woodward Avenue, across from the Palmer Park Golf Course. Before visitors can enter the wellness chamber, they must remove their shoes—and skepticism—at the door.
         Inside, there is almost a church-like stillness and calm. Visitors are given slippers for comfort and offered a sample of alkaline water, which has a higher pH level than traditional tap or bottled water. The center offers various classes, education, services and support for those on the healing journey.

         Dr. Keefa’s family is highly committed to continuing her legacy. The center is excited to welcome Master Herbalist / Health & Wellness Coach Kofi Annorh to the team. His passion is to consult and to help those on their unique healing journey. Kofi Annorh, a fifth generation of Ghanaian ancient knowledge, was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, where he learned many of the African herbal secrets, which he is now bringing back here in Michigan. After his upbringing, Kofi Annorh has traveled to many countries around the world. With his heritage in the Council of Chiefs, an important government body, he has dined with many diplomats and dignitaries from all over the world, including Rosa Parks.

     Kofi Annorh specializes in African natural wellness and can help anyone with lifestyle changes, herbal teas and more, assisting them in their path to wellbeing through diet, nutrition and herbal support.
