PFAS and Your Health

The Ecology Center supports the Great Lakes PFAS Action Network (GLPAN,) a coalition driven by PFAS-impacted community members.

GLPAN’s Community Leaders present a public conversation about PFAS and health resources. Guest speaker Dr. Courtney Carignan will speak about her work helping communities understand their PFAS exposures and taking action to protect their health.

Dr. Carignan is an exposure scientist and environmental epidemiologist at Michigan State University. She has worked directly with GLPAN community leaders. Her research helps protect reproductive and child health by investigating exposure to contaminants in food, water, consumer and personal care products. More about Dr. Carignan.

Don't miss this important opportunity to discuss the health hazards and exposure risks of PFAS with health experts and community leaders.
