Sound Healing in the Wild

Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge will present an Outdoor Meditation with Sound Healing event from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., August 25, in Trenton. A local practitioner will lead participants through a healing and enriching experience using the power of Tibetan bowls and the beauty of nature.

The sound of singing bowls allows deep relaxation of both sides of the brain. It stimulates stress relief on all levels and the elimination of toxins from the body. After sound therapy, emotions are calm and the mind clearer, and the sound vibrations have effect on the body after the singing bowls have been played.

Admission is free. Location: 5437 W. Jefferson Ave. Register at Tinyurl.com/RefugeSoundHealing.
