Guru Bhakti Retreat in Vanderbilt

Song of the Morning Yoga Retreat is conducting a Guru Bhakti Retreat: Immersion in Divine Love, with Naren K. Schreiner and Lopamudra Bose and the Song of the Morning community and staff, from March 6 through 12. Guests are invited to stay during this special week and Bose says, “This week will be an immersion into what life is like here in our spiritual community, and we would love to have you with us.”

A highlight of the week will be the Tuesday program celebrating the Mahasamadhi of Paramahansaji, which will include opportunities for seva (selfless service), a banquet dinner and a commemorative ceremony in the evening. Participants can expect a combination of solitude and personal retreat, with devotional festivities and fellowship. Enjoy time alone in one of their reading nooks or explore the wintery hiking trails. There is a schedule of spiritually uplifting activities including fellowship, satsang, kirtan, meditation and more.

Song of the Morning’s spiritual practices are based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, founder of the Self Realization Fellowship and author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi.

Guests pay the cost of their accommodations, which include meals. Location: 9607 E. Sturgeon Valley Rd., Vanderbilt. For more information, call 989-983-4107, email [email protected] or visit SongOfTheMorning.org.
