Locally Owned, Locally Grown and Freshly Prepared Cuisine
Archie’s Social House restaurant has opened at 237 Lake Avenue, in Traverse City, serving locally focused New American Cuisine. Manager Nick Petrie says, “We believe community is grown through the shared love of food! That’s why sourcing local Michigan ingredients is part of our mission to grow the community and be conscious of our role in sustainability. Each item on our menu is carefully crafted to make use of the diversity of seasonal crops in Northern Michigan.”
After building a following with a food truck and residencies at The Coin Slot and The Workshop Brewing Company, the brick-and-mortar version offers many new menu items such as healthy vegan and vegetarian options. Higher Grounds coffee is available along with a full bar, including mimosa flights and bloody Mary mixes. The new location sports a sizable outdoor patio and Petrie hopes to be a neighborhood oasis for breakfast and lunch dining this summer then expand into dinner service.
