Benjamin Twiggs Cherry Products Gives Back

Founded in 1966, Benjamin Twiggs provides fine cherry products and gourmet food to the Traverse City area. They will donate 5 percent of food sales for October to the Women’s Cancer Fund. Benjamin Twiggs supplies cherry preserves, dried fruits, toppings and sauces from the cherry capital of the world.

Owner Julie Millen says, “Throughout our history, we have remained true to our commitment of using only the finest local ingredients. And while we are famous for ‘everything cherry’, we are continually inspired by the bounty of our area; a land of lush rolling hills, farms and orchards bursting with cherries, raspberries, blueberries and more.”

Millen is also passionate about other local charitable organizations, and is involved with both Impact 100 Traverse City, which gives grants to local nonprofits, and Spark in the Dark, which facilitates a means for people to reach out to neighbors in times of need.

Location: 1213 E. Front St., Traverse City. For more information, call 231-244-1471, email [email protected] or visit BenjaminTwiggs.com.
