Wisdom Flourishes at Westgate

Schuler Books (formerly Nicola’s Books) has relocated to the Old Siam restaurant space next door at 2513 Jackson Avenue, in Ann Arbor's Westgate Shopping Center. The move will allow for a larger children’s section, the addition of a used book section and the ability to increase selections in other areas of the store.

 The store continues to maintain its unique personality and longtime community partnerships with exceptional customer service, increased inventory, quality event programming and support for local authors. New product lines include educational toys, art supplies and stationery.

 Originally named The Little Professor, former owner Nicola Rooney purchased the bookstore in 1995 and changed the name to Nicola’s Books. In 2014, Rooney sold the store to Bill and Cecile Fehsenfeld, who are now adopting the current imprimatur. Schuler Books, with locations in Grand Rapids and Okemos, is celebrating 40 years in business this fall.
