Learn About Sustainability at Earthfest

The University of Michigan (UM) Office of Campus Sustainability (OCS) Earthfest, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., September 22, on the campus Diag, celebrates sustainability initiatives across UM and the surrounding communities while providing an inclusive platform to educate and engage the campus community on opportunities to support sustainability and environmental justice on campus and in our daily lives. Participants can meet a variety of student groups, university departments and local organizations that offer many ways to learn about and engage in sustainability.

OCS, a part of Planet Blue Campus, a university-wide initiative to promote sustainable operations and engagement, collaborates with units across UM on efforts toward reaching 2025 campus sustainability goals in the areas of climate, waste reduction, healthy environments and community engagement. They are responsible for tracking and reporting the progress toward these goals.

Location: 913 S. University Ave., Ann Arbor. To see a list of participating organizations, visit ocs.umich.edu/earthfest/participating-orgs. For more information, email [email protected] or visit ocs.umich.edu/sustainability-goals/community-engagement/earthfest.
